The strangest thing

The strangest thing happened last night in the Butler household. We put McKenzie down at about 10:00pm or so thinking we had a few hours before she woke up again. We probably should have gone to bed, but we haven't really been out and felt like getting in the pool. We brought the monitor outside with us in case the little one woke up. Nothing, so we got ready for bed and fell asleep. It was about 11:30 or so. I had agreed to take the next shift, and Samantha would take the graveyard shift and the 6:00am shift so I could get ready for work. I heard McKenzie start crying, so I got up and sat on the edge of the bed so I could wake up and see the clock. 5:00 am. Let me repeat 5:00am. I was elated. That was 7 hrs of sleep for little Miss 'I sleep in 3 hr increments'. Plus, no spit up, no super dirty diaper. Amazing, absolutely incredible. She ate and went back to sleep. This has never happened. I am still in shock 4 hrs later. So the moral of this long, drawn out story is that miracles do happen. Especially when least expected. Sorry no pictures, I know they are more exciting. I just wanted to share my excitement with you, as I realize this probably won't happen again for awhile. Hope all is well.
