Hello again!

We are getting very excited for Christmas. We are doing a gift exchange here in Phoenix with Samantha's family this weekend, and then off to Austin. It'll be McKenzie's first trip on an airplane and first time meeting her cousin Kieran. See his blog http://www.thebutlerfamilyblog.blogspot.com

See the video. Her latest trick is passing objects from hand to hand. She'll be juggling in no time.

Man, I am slacking!

Since our last post, McKenzie has had a four month checkup in which she is now 12 lb 13 oz and about 25 inches long. Not sure if I've posted that. Here are a few recent shots in some cute clothes. Hope you enjoy.

The sweatshirt was sent by my grandparents, Mouse and Jack. Thank you.

Eat the phone, good! (She eats everything she can grab now, which of course is everything)

Hi cutie

Thanks to the Burkes for the onesie. Very cute.

Have a laugh

This had me cracking up. I have limited time and resources to work out now, so I was doing some sit ups while watching McKenzie. Enjoy. (And yes, 13 is about all I can do)

McKenzie is looking more and more like Samantha's baby photos everyday.

Little Miss Chatterbox

It is now my turn to be home with McKenzie full time for 12 weeks. Life couldn't be better. I enjoy every second with her. Here is a clip of when she was talking with Samantha at work. It translates to "come home soon"

A good day in sports

McKenzie was very happy to hear that the Cubbies clinched the division and Purdue pulled out a win.

It's always good to end with a picture or video, so here goes:

2 month check up

Actually more like 10 week check up. McKenzie is up to 11lb 3oz, 23 inches long and cute as ever. I was looking at this blog's settings and noticed it may have been a pain to post comments because you have to be a registered user. I have changed this so anyone can post. Feel free if you are so inclined. I hope all is well.

Votes are in

Here are the results:
When will McKenzie start crawling?
6 months & 9 months are tied at 2 votes each
7, 8, 10 months each had 1 vote.

The first word??
Capturing 60% of the vote, and winner of this months poll was "Mama"
(Apparently I need to work a little harder)

And more importantly, a few more pictures:

Now Bob, let's talk merger

Some more shots

Almost 10 weeks old. We are reaching the ultra smiling stage. It has been so much fun here recently. She is reacting to our smiles much more and can concentrate a little longer. Seems everyday brings something new.
